Emotional Trauma
Trauma occurs when one suffers a shock: to the physical body when involved in an accident or a life threatening event like war.
Trauma is experienced emotionally too when a loved one is sick or dies, when there is sudden financial loss, a divorce, an argument with loved ones, unexpected behavior, long term care-giving, etc.
The results of trauma are varied and can be handled with patience and kindness. There is a gentle way of looking into the body, allowing the body to release the trauma held within and coming to peace with the experience.
